How Manitoba Champions are chosen
Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations (CCHF) is proud to run the Canadian branch of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN), supporting 13 Canadian children’s hospitals. Every year, these member hospital foundations identify a few remarkable children within their province who have shared their story to demonstrate the incredible advances that have been made in child health care, and the personal journey children and their families take to overcome illness or injury. CCHF then chooses one Champion Child from each province to represent all children across Canada who continue to need children’s hospitals.
In Manitoba, the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba is honoured to be represented by these remarkable children from our province who have triumphed despite severe medical challenges. Manitoba Champions speak on behalf of the 130,000 sick and injured children who visit HSC Children’s Hospital annually as well as raise funds for areas of greatest need.
Would you like a Champion Child to speak at your event or organization?
If your event or organization is raising funds to support sick and injured children who need the hospital, you may be eligible to have a past Champion Child attend and speak about the importance of the hospital. These kids are excellent speakers and can support your audience to have a greater understanding and connection to the cause.
