Play games to help heal kids like Jack

Manitobans: pick up your controllers and get ready to roll dice – all to raise money for kids that need care at HSC Children’s Hospital! This summer Extra Life North will host a new in-person celebration of casual gaming, tournaments, challenges and more for the gaming community. August 8 -9 gamers from across Canada and the US will connect and play both video and tabletop games, all while supporting a great cause!

“Were putting on this event to celebrate the amazing successes of our local Extra Life community and to help get the word out about this great cause,” says Kirk Fierback, co-president of the Extra Life Winnipeg Guild. “Everyone in the Extra Life Winnipeg Guild is either a former patient of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba or knows someone who was. This is a cause that’s very near and dear to us and we want to do our part to help kids when they need it the most.”

All proceeds from this Extra Life North event will go towards supporting kids who need HSC Children’s Hospital as well as life-saving research being done at the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba.
