“It’s easy to get involved because we’ve all either had children or been around children or we’ve been children and it’s an unfortunate situation that children have to be in hospital,” says Braun.
Daytona Homes is a master home builder recognized for crafting family homes with care, and works in six major cities across the prairies. Carriage Signature Homes is the part of the company that crafts custom homes.

FWS Group of companies – weekly matching sponsor
“We have a very strong culture of philanthropy and of really giving back to our community and the communities we work in.”
Denis Tétrault, Director of Sales and Marketing at FWS group of companies says his company’s culture of philanthropy led FWS to join in Dr. Goodbear’s Hope for the Holidays Give-a-thon. As a weekly matching sponsor, FWS is helping #GiveBetterFutures for kids who need HSC Children’s Hospital.

FWS group is a Winnipeg-based construction company that does industrial work across the country. Tétrault says the company is proud to be engaged in the community, and encourages everyone who can donate, to do so.

Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg – weekly matching sponsor
“If the Children’s Hospital wasn’t there for us, I’m not sure where my son would be today.”
Hiren Shah, the Vice President of Service with the Winnipeg Kinsmen Club, says his son is happy and healthy today because of the Children’s Hospital’s support when he needed a blood transfusion.
“It’s very important to us as Kinsmen, but very important to me as well.”
The Winnipeg Kinsmen Club is part of Kin Canada, clubs across Canada committed to serving their community’s greatest needs.

“A lot of us here are parents, and we’ve all been fortunate only to need the Children’s Hospital for really short-term problems, but it’s every parent’s fear that at some point you’re going to need their help in a more serious way.”
Sherril Matthes, a partner and organizational strategy lead at Honest Agency, says it’s the responsibility of those who can, to help the Children’s Hospital, ensuring families in our communities have access to the best services and support.
