Donate Toys & Other Goods
Coronavirus (COVID-19) impact on CHFM office:
At the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, we are continuing our commitment to the kids during this difficult time of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Currently, we cannot accept any toy or gift-in-kind donations, either in-person or couriered to the hospital. Please contact us if you have a toy/goods donation and we will make arrangements with you.

View the Children’s Hospital Wish List to see the items most in need at the hospital. A tax receipt can be made available if you provide the Foundation with a receipt upon delivery for the value (before taxes). - Donate towards the purchase of a new toy
We accept donations designated specifically for toy purchases. Please send cheques to the Foundation at CE501-840 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3A 1S1 ATTENTION: TOY DONATION. Monetary donations are tax receipt eligible. - Sewing donations
The need for sewing and knitting items varies each year. View the suggested sewing items that the Children’s Hospital needs. - Food donations
Only commercially made and wrapped candy and treats will be accepted as donations for special occasions (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, etc.) No donations containing nuts or nut products can be accepted for distribution to the patients, due to allergy risks. We only accept holiday treats during the holidays.
Please note: Although we appreciate the thoughtfulness, we cannot accept second-hand items, even if they are gently used. We suggest dropping these types of items at the Nearly New Shop on 961 Portage Avenue once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Call (204) 772-3629 for drop-off hours.
