Teddy Bears’ Picnic remains on hold in 2023

Winnipeg, MB (Feb 13, 2022) – The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba Teddy Bears’ Picnic remains on hold for 2023.

The Teddy Bears’ Picnic in past has had crowds of up to 40,000 people and there has not been an opportunity to plan an event of that magnitude, due to ongoing RSV, Influenza and COVID-19 challenges for infants and children.  Staff vital to running picnic features, like the Dr. Goodbear Clinic, are still needed to attend to urgent needs in the hospital.

The Foundation is grateful to generous donors who have continued to make contributions to support sick and injured children.
