Share Your Voice and Influence Children's Health Research
As a young person and patient in Canada’s healthcare system, you have an important voice in advising on future directions in research. Use your voice by joining the National KidsCan Young Persons’ Advisory Group (YPAG) for research. This will be a group of youth aged 13-19 from all over Canada. You will work on exciting projects that will help improve research experiences for young patients around the world.
Through your participation, you will also learn a lot about research and medicine and be able to develop your teamwork and leadership skills. There will be opportunities to travel for conferences as well as to work on self-initiated research projects.
If you join YPAG, you’ll spend five to ten hours per month on KidsCan related tasks and attend (over the phone, online, or in-person) 10 of the 12 meetings per year.
If you want to join YPAG, please complete this form.
