Caring for Kids Brandon Radiothon

Make a difference in the lives of sick and injured children in Brandon and the surrounding areas Thursday, April 18th, 2019 from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. as we broadcast live from the Brandon Regional Health Centre (BRHC) on 101 The Farm and 96.1 BOB FM for the Caring for Kids Radiothon, presented by Sunrise Credit Union.

The Caring For Kids Radiothon gives listeners the opportunity to hear first-hand stories from children and their families that have fought hard, as well as the struggles they face every day. Hear how your support can help save lives.

There are more than 800 Westman families who go first to the BRHC and then come to the Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg. Both hospitals have been working together for years and the community is very appreciative of that relationship. Partnerships and working relationships are a must to ensure a strong bond of knowledge and skill is always maintained and shared to help sick children.

Over the last decade, Radiothon has financed the purchase of over $73,000 of life-saving equipment. This includes Pediatric Resuscitation carts, O2 monitors, vital sign monitors, a phototherapy spotlight, an Otoacoustic emissions hearing screen and several sleep chairs, cribs and rocker chairs.

Please join us for the Caring For Kids Radiothon! Your support will save lives, and children need us now!
