Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

$172,320 of $172,320 Raised

GOAL REACHED!
Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this campaign. We are grateful to each and every one of you for helping purchase this piece of equipment that will make a difference for our kids in the Children’s Hospital.

It means the world to a sick child and their family to receive kindness from strangers.

Sometimes it’s the ‘little things’ – like books, toys and the special treats. And sometimes its the ‘big things’, like medical technology.

There is a need in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to purchase medical technology, like a CMAC Video Laryngoscopy. This is a life-saving machine that literally helps children breathe when they can’t. When there is no other way to get a little one breathing, it is absolutely essential that the nurses have this equipment to use.

This machine comes with a big price tag of course. Each machine costs $86,160, and they really need two – one for the Pediatric Intensive Care and one for Emergency.

Take a moment to read Wesley’s story about his experience in the PICU. He is truly a champion. So are his parents! And so are you! Because it is your dedication and generosity that lets us care for families like these.

If campaign goal is achieved, additional dollars will be allocated to the area of greatest need.
